Moss & Mary Fridlander were born in Bavaria. They ran a jewellers shop in Fleet Street, Coventry (now the Lower Precinct) close to St John's church. In 1841 Moss's alertness, and collaboration with Coventry's newly appointed first Chief of Police lead to the capture of the Oswestry Murderer.
Moss Fridlander was also a watchmaker. See more about other Coventry Jewish Watchmakers here.
